Well, this year Sara decided that she was definitely not going to follow
family tradition. She did not collect scraps of fabric and paper before
Mother's Day. She did not press leaves or flowers between the pages of
her heavy Grimm's Fairy Tales book. She did not do any of the things
she had always done before a special day. For Mother's Day she
absolutely would not make another pillow or pincushion or picture. She
wouldn't even make a card.
