First Paragraph: Literary Elements o Choose one of the poems from Unit 1. o Identify literary elements that the poet used in the poem. See the vocabulary list for examples of literary elements we’ve encountered in this unit. o Explain how these literary elements create, add, or show the poem’s meaning. o Include lines from the poem that contain the literary elements. Properly cite the lines. Second Paragraph: Structure o Choose one of the poems from Unit 1. This cannot be the same poem as in paragraph one. o Identify the structure the poet used in the poem. o Explain how the structure creates, adds, or shows the poem’s meaning. o Include lines from the poem that demonstrate an aspect of the structure. Properly cite the lines. Third Paragraph: Favorite o Choose one of the poems from Unit 1. This cannot be the same poem as in the previous paragraphs. o Explain why this is your favorite poem. o How does this poem relate to your own life experiences? o Include your favorite lines from the poem. Biologists recognize five levels of cell organization. the lowest and simplest is the cellular level. organisms here are either unicellular organisms, like protozoa, or colonial organisms. colonial organisms are composed of single-celled individuals that stay together to sustain the life of the whole colony. next on the scale of complexity is the level occupied by tissue. a tissue is a group of similar cells which perform a similar activity. tissues that are organized around a common function together make up an organ, the third level of complexity. the fourth level of organization is the system, formed by a group of organs which together perform a specific bodily process. the fifth and highest level is the organism level, in which body systems work together in a structure capable of independent life. main idea:

Time is not always change. time can also mean continuity, and it can mean keeping acknowledged truths in mind despite differences in circumstances.there is no better example of this in things fall apart than the retellings of the proverb about the bird named eneke, the language in both retellings is almost identical despite the length of time that has passed between their repetitions. in comparing the usages of the same proverb, achebe allows his readers to note the similarities and differences between the situations, and he them understand how this story can be applied to their own lives.
