Read the following passage:
After years of pressuring my daughter to play piano, I had
to step back and let her develop her talents in her own way.
And the desire to make music was there - just not in the
form I had chosen. She picked up a guitar and took to it
like a fish takes to water. I felt so proud of my daughter, yet
I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed too.
What is the role of paradox in this passage?
A. To show that we can feel both satisfaction and dissatisfaction at
the same time
O B. To show that parents should allow their children to explore the
world
O C. To show that we must nurture all of our talents to feel proud of
ourselves
O D. To show that we can experience failure yet still feel proud with our
own accomplishments
