When Chielo arrives at Okonkwo's compound it is stated that "It was not the same Chielo who sat with her (Enzinma/Ekwefi) in the market... Chielo was not a woman that night" (96-97 in the pdf) signifying that Chielo has gone through some sort of change, or is displaying a different personality.
