So i'm starting a poem and i wanna see if u guys like it and if i should add something. i'm supposed to write a poem based on the book called Allies, by Alan Gratz.

#1(the first poem)
In a breathtaking race against time

In a breathtaking race against time.
German anti-aircraft shells exploded in the sky.
What am i doing here?
Reminding myself.
I struggled to my feet,
Scared to die any second.
Everybody else forgets who i am,
Why cant he forget?
I’ve won….. But at what cost?

I fight to complete my high-stakes missions.
But with betrayals and deadly risks at every turn I take.

#2(the second poem)
The fate of the world is in their hands.

The fate of the world is in their hands.
One chance to unite, everything to lose.
Night and fog, hardly seen.
The dice is on the carpet,
But we’ll get through this together.
The cross of lorraine,
Ment freedom to us.
But shall we receive it, nor not.

#3(the third one) (i dont know what to add in to it)

The dead and the dying

The dead and the dying,
