What are the positive and negative impacts SOCIAL MEDIA (not technology) has on society?

A positive influence would be a great amount of diversity among each other, a negative influence would be it could cause younger people to want to fit in with society and would do anything to do so

but it is sometime nessary to hit key points or subjects   but is sometimes to much reveiw if there was a way to slim down the redone work it would improve for every body.
