There are many ways a teacher can make an impact on a students life.

In my experience it's just the little things a teacher does, for example if a teacher helps a student even if they don't ask. Look for students having trouble by their facial expressions, and if they look troubled help them. If a student looks down, talk to them. That is all you have to do is talk to them. And do not ever avoid a conversation from a student you mat dislike, because most of the time the cause of misbehavior is from a bad home life. So just talk to your students.
