In Julius Caesar, why is Calpurnia so intent on having her husband stay at home on the Ides of March? She fears for her own safety after dreaming about lions and warriors roaming the streets. Calpurnia is nervous that Caesar will accept the crown and become king. Calpurnia has an ominous dream that Caesar will die that day. She is demanding of Caesar's time, and she prefers him to be home more.
