Informative writing means writing about a topic of your choice or you schools choice and writing facts and things that can inform people with your text. For example: if I was writing an information text about Thailand, I might include the tsunami that occurred in 2004 and talk about where the country is and the life style of how people are living in the country. You could also write their population and how they adapted to the problem about the tsunami. Hope this helps! :D

Informative writing is to inform the reader, or give the reader knowledge about what you are saying. It should be clear and accurate information, to help the reader better understand a procedure, or a process. The purpose of informative writing is to increase the readers comprehension of a concept.
