Never shall I forget. I dreamed of a bed, of my mother’s hand on my face.

It is a concentration camp.

Deep inside me I felt a great void opening.

But look at these men whom You have betrayed, allowing them to be tortured, slaughtered, gassed, burned, what do they do?

They praise Your name!

Life was normal again.

The joy in his eyes was gone.

There was joy, yes, joy.

It all belonged to everyone since it no longer belonged to anyone. It was there for the taking. An open tomb.

That was when I began to hate them, and my hatred remains our only link today.

No one was praying for the night to pass quickly.

Tomorrow could be worse yet.

Our eyes opened. Too late.

Our terror could no longer be contained.

“The fire, over there!”

We stared at the flames in the darkness. A wretched stench floated in the air.

In the air, the smell of burning flesh.

Could this be just a nightmare? An unimaginable nightmare?

He did not wish to see his only son go up in flames.

I could not believe that human beings were being burned in our times; the world would never tolerate such crimes.

For the first time, I felt anger rising within me.

We were talking slowly, as one follows a hearse, our own funeral procession.

Ahead of you lies a long road paved with suffering.

Can you find the tone and mood pls I will mark you as brainlest.
