   It has been quite some time since I received your letter. I have been unable to reply due to time constraint. I have been working on several projects in school all this while. I believe that you are also making tremendous progress in your studies.

  The History teacher in my school announced a voluntary excursion to the war museum at Umuahia. This museum houses several artifacts that are relics of the Nigeria-Biafra civil war. This excursion is very important to me at this time because I am writing a paper on the "Continuous impact of the Nigeria-Biafra civil war on the unity of Nigeria".

 I believe that you also need to be at this excursion since you want to major in History when you get to college. The excursion will certainly be of great help in your chosen career. I therefore heartily invite you to be part of this excursion.
