   The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagaski is one of history's most significant incidents. Because of how this influenced and continues to affect people in Hiroshima and Nagaski. This was all because of Hiroshima's military and their intention to force Japan to surrender in order to end World War ll. They then agreed to bomb Nagaski as well. Around 200,000 people were killed and thousands more were injured in this tragedy, but several survivors are now around to tell the tale of this historic moment. Sunao Tsuboi and Shigemitsu Tanaka were survivors of the Hiroshima and Nagaski bombings on August 6, 1945 and August 9, 1945, respectively.

  Sunao Tsuboi was a 20-year-old man on his way to college in Hiroshima when this happened, and he was blasted from head to foot, according to NYTimes.com. He knew it was the end for him at this stage, so he lied down next to a bridge. Until a classmate discovered and approached him, he took him to a military hospital where he received medical attention. He is now a retired worker with a wife, son, and grandchildren. He has served in the President's office and has encouraged and mentioned to the President to "fight for world peace after he leaves office."

 Shigemitsu Tanaka, was almost five when he witnessed this tragity. He discribed everything as white, windows braking, and a huge thunderclap in the sky. He was only playing under a tree when he took cover and tried to protect  himself. Later his mother suffered from repeated illnesses she worked as an elementary instructor. His father later died from cancer after 12 years of the bombing. Tanka said he "smelled burning flesh and moans", he also stated that Obama should clear nuclear wepons for good and hoped he would sit and listen to survivors.

Shigemitsu Tanaka was nearly five years old when he experienced this tragedy. All was white, the windows were breaking, and there was a massive thunderclap in the sky, according to him. He was only pretending to play under a tree before he took cover and attempted to defend himself. Later in life, his mother suffered from recurring ailments while working as an elementary school teacher. His father died of cancer 12 years after the attack. Tanka said that he "smelled burning flesh and moans," and that Obama should "clear nuclear weapons for good" and that he wished Obama would stay and listen to survivors.
