Question 10 Read the question and type your response in the box provided. Your response will be saved automatically. Read the two paragraphs. Usually, I don't get nervous about things, but in sixth grade I had two of the most unnerving experiences of my life. One frightening experience was running for student council. I began working to be a student representative at the beginning of the school year. I hung up posters, passed out flyers, and gave speeches in assembly. On Election Day, the vote was really close, but I won by a narrow margin. Mr. Smithson, the choir director, asked all the people who wanted to try out for the school musical to meet in the choir room after school the following Monday. I practiced and practiced. On the day of the tryouts, I was really nervous, but I got through the song. Even though I lost the part to my best friend, A. J., trying out for the school musical was still a great experience. Write a sentence that could be added to the beginning of the second paragraph to connect the two paragraphs. Use words from both paragraphs in your sentence.
