In the Bible, King Herod is best known for the Massacre of the Innocents. Herod asked the Magi to seek out the new infant King stating he wanted to worship the child, but actually he hoped to kill the infant before he becomes a problem. An Angel appeared to Joseph and urged the family to flee to save the child from Herod. When Herod discovered that the child was gone, he ordered the deaths of all male children under the age of two in all of Bethlehem. Why is this allusion appropriate for Bill?
