We now know for sure what "Release" means. When the elderly/sick/infants are "Released" they are humanely euthanized (put to sleep/killed).

1. Why would The Community euthanize people like this? What's the point? (1-2 sentences)

3. There are clinics around the world that, if a person requests due to severe illness/disability, will allow them to euthanize themselves.
