What is the technique or strategy used by the speaker when delivering his speech

There are a couple strategy's a speaker can use to his/her aid in engaging the audience's full attention. One by knowing when to go and stop by knowing when to squeeze every word for maximum impact. Another could could be by making hand gestures sync with your words, simply by using your hands in such ways of asking a question or stating an opinion. And finally his/her's can use the strategy of how you say certain things when talking or moving onto topics.
