Situation/Scene: Grover nearly falls in Tartarus

Quote: "If my life is going to mean anything, I have to live it myself."

How Does It Show Teamwork: Percy and Annabeth had to work together to stop Grover from being dragged into the pit of chaos by his shoes.

What Happened: Luke gave Percy a pair or cursed winged sandals, made to drag him into Tartarus. Percy gave the shoes to Grover, knowing he would not be allowed to fly, and when they reached the Underworld, the shoes activated, dragging Grover towards Tartarus. It was sheer luck he survived.
