I would say that technology is, in the terms listed, 'definitely' benefiical to younger generations. While many can argue that simplicity is a way to get by without the effort they had to do, technology is advancing for a reason. For example, a paper map is much less viewed effective than a 5 second gps verbal command in a new electronic Jeep.
