The skies cry.
like me at night.
there's just something that isnt right.
you promised me you'd be my knight.
then when you left i didn't make a sound.
now here you are coming back around.
but then you say don't talk me.
as if i said anything.
the clouds are rolling in.
i guess honey this is the end.
of something that should have never began.
it's starting to pour,
my heart is sore
from all this heartbreak.
there is nothing i can say, to make you stay.
now i am numb to pain, dont want to cry anymore.
becuase my heart is shattered on the floor.
dont try to pick the pieces up.
trust me no ones that tough.
i smile and laugh and play around.
that's what they say around town.
but behind closed doors.
i cry laying on the floor.
i shut everyone out.
because too many people left me its hard for me to count.
i want to be happy.
but that's just not reality.
so when the skies are clear.
and the sun is shining.
my smile will be blinding.
but inside i am drowning.
