What is the best college for someone if he wants to engineer?

Google listed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as the top engineering school in america but its 42,000 a year, so i guess it would be a matter of how much you can pay for tuition, and honestly just how much you like the school based on research, so i would do a google search and get an idea of what each school is like
