Iam writing a short story for a school assignment. it's about a boy traveling through realms and ending up in our realm.
he's supposed to be located in a park, and i'm hoping to let him interact with another person, but to do so he needs to be quite unfamiliar with the area around him.
so, my question is, how do i describe a swing without actually using the word 'swing'. how would this character interact it, if he doesn't know what it is?
