Read job 1: 1-5 and use the information you are given to write a deductive paragraph. first, read the passage from the scriptures. then, in your mind or on a piece of scratch paper, list four or five statements you can make about job. remember, each sentence should relate directly to the topic sentence. then write the paragraph.

Job is a wealthy, devout and religious father. He is a wealthy man who fathered ten children. Despite his wealth, he has remained humble and obedient to God's will. His devotion to pleasing God is always manifested when his children throw lavish parties and he performs a cleansing ritual the following morning. He always offer a burnt offering to God for each offspring and prayed for His mercy.
