what are the four types of sentences? what end punctuation does each type of sentence take?

There are four types of sentences :  

1.- Statement Sentence or Declarative Sentence, these are the most common type because we use them to make statements (eg. I work for 12 hours every day.) It has a full stop or period in the end.

2.-Question Sentence or Interrogative Sentence, these sentences are used whenever we want to make a question and they have a different order of elements. (eg. Are you hungry right now?) A question mark is necessary at the end of them.

3.- Exclamation Sentence or Exclamatory Sentence, these sentences are used to emphasize what we are saying, we make the meaning stronger with them (eg. That song is beautiful!) They have an exclamation mark at the end.

4.- Command Sentence or Imperative Sentence, these are direct sentences that are used to give orders or indications. (eg. Don't do it again.) They have a full stop o period in the end.
