Josh has been in a band with his friends since they were little kids. As he has grown older, Josh has come to recognize that he is a better musician than his friends are. Instead of playing in his friends' garage band, Josh is thinking about joining the all-city jazz band, where he can play with and learn from some of the best musicians around.

Should Josh join the jazz band instead of playing with his friends? Consider the positions below as you think about how you would answer this question.
