According to the observations of Daniel (2015), the child sexual abuse normally becomes a stimulus for the onset of trauma-related shame in the victimized youngster. Additionally if children experienced long-term shame due to CSA can have a number of aversive mental and physical health implications (Middleton et al., 2017). They internalize the shame of the abuse and start considering themselves as unacceptable, unlovable, and good for nothing, with expectations of further victimization or maltreatment, which in turn leading them to withdrawal from others (Briere & Lanktree, 2013). At this point, the children make use of maladaptive strategies like avoidance, aggression, and dissociation as coping strategies. These coping strategies in the progress lead them to substance abuse, interpersonal problems, and other psychological health problems.
