Evidence: so we scientists know this because they are the same animal, but they both live in different climate if you want to see a brown hare you can see them in the spring and summertime, but if you want to see snow hare you’ll usually check in places that are cold.

Claim: You would expect to find the white hare after the extended winter

Evidence: In the picture it shows the white hare covered in snow. The picture also has a key word at the bottom: "usually long" meaning, the winter must've lasted much longer than expected, resulting in the brown hair dying from the cold weather.

Reasoning: The white hare lives in the snow, meaning it has already adapted and is used to the cold weather. While the brown hare is used to a warm environment. Therefore, if the winter is extended the brown hare is most likely not to have a chance of surviving in the cold weather conditions.
