In this discussion, you'll reflect on the various types of media you studied and consider how effective they were at conveying messages. 2 tasks = 20 points Task 1: Choose 1 image from above and write a paragraph or multi-paragraphs about it and the discussions and lessons we have had in class. Your grade is based on how you explain your integration of the unit and lessons' central ideas regarding the media image you chose, and of course, following the directions. In your Original Post, talk about the media you chose and: 10points

1. Who is the Audience? and What is the message they are supposed to get?

2. What are the Implicit and Explicit messages you see?

3. Is there anything deceiving about the ad? *propaganda

4. Does this message have a Tone you can identify and how is this Tone coming across to the audience?

5. What are the logical and illogical propaganda messages in this media image you chose? Using words from the OMS practices and Flocabulary always makes you sound like you've been paying attention (wink).

Task 2: Reply to TWO other posts with meaningful replies. Read their post and take an idea they are talking about and either agree and add to it, politely disagree and state your thoughts, or reflect on the connections his/her post makes you think of. 5points each

*Capitalization / Punctuation / Sentence Structure is always graded when you're writing. You might be marked down for grammar errors that could have been easily fixed with a revision.
