(Jessica was in class, but she was bored and sleepy. Suddenly, she heard a noise outside the classroom door.) She heard it again and realized that she was the only one who could hear it. As she walked to the door, she realized something even more astonishing. No one in the classroom could see her. She had become invisible!

Jessica nervously opened the door and stepped outside. (To her horror, she found herself on a battlefield with thousands of men in red and blue coats fighting one another.) Terrified, she turned back to the classroom door but couldn’t find it. Knowing that she was trapped in this strange war made her hands and feet go cold and her heart begin to pound.
