Read the story. On her last day in Windsor, Karla hurried to the ancient oak in the park where she and her best friend, Amelia, routinely hung out. She hoped to find her friend there. When Karla glimpsed Amelia’s golden hair dabbled by the sun streaming through the leafy tree, Karla was elated.
