Johnny, ponyboy, and Dallas go to the drive in and meet two girls named Cherry and Marcia whom are to socs girls. Cherry's bf went after Ponyboy and Johnny and Johnny stabbed cherry's bf. Johnny and ponyboy go runaway.  they stayed at a church and they got new haircuts after a while. Dallas met up with them and got them food. and then they get back to the church, it was if flames. a small crowd of two adults and a bunch of children were outside and some where stuck inside. Johnny and Pony save the children stuck inside and  Johnny gets hurt because of a wooden beam and the fire.
