Dear Johnny,

It is with joy that I write this letter to you after a long period of lockdown owing to the corona virus pandemic. I believe that you are doing well over there in Yola. I pray for you everyday that God will protect you and prosper your business.

A lot have been happening in South East Nigeria in the past few months. The latest development is that a certain group of young people who are popularly designated in the mainstream media as "unknown gunmen" have been attacking security formations and correctional centers across the five south Eastern states.

The latest in the sequence of attacks is the attack on the Imo State headquarters of the Nigerian Police Force and the Owerri Correctional center. We now live in fear of these unknown gunmen because we can not tell when or where the next attack will be.

Until now, there have been no official intelligence regarding the identity of these unknown gunmen. However, we believe that the mystery behind these unidentified men will soon be unraveled.
