The answer is definitely either terror or resentment.

Terror- obvious reasons on how violently they were treated by the Germans in the war.

Resentment- because of how poorly and unfairly they were treated they wanted almost "revenge" and were extremely mad at the Germans.

I also will add that particularly in the first five years they were feeling more terror than resentment because at the time the Jews could either way do nothing to rebel against the Germans since they were the ones in power. Most likely it was after the war the Jewish community really wanted to rebel against the Germans for the way they were treated.
