EVERYONE ELSE ON EARTH - IN THE GREAT BLINDING. TWO YEARS LATER, WITHOUT WARNING, YOUR SIGHT RETURNS. AS YOU AVAILABLE WALL, FLOOR AND SURFACE HAS BEEN PAINTED WITH THE SAME MESSAGE -

2 years. The Great Blinding has been around for 2 dam.n years.

Not a single human has had the ability to see since then.

Well until now apparently.

I felt a shriek escape my lips, my heart throbbed with panic, light and colors blurred together, fear clogging my throat, what in the hel.l?!?!.

My breath dragged through my lungs, I could see.

It was fuzzy at first, just a bunch of whites, grays, and blacks, then it clicked into focus.

I was on my knees, a small stain of scarlet blossoming from a tear in a black jumpsuit. My hands were clenched onto the rough fabric pale with shoc- my hands.

Dark rich skin, generously sprayed with freckles, a thin scar lacing across one of them, my hands.

I laughed hysterically, tearing my gaze away from myself "I-I can see. I ca-" I stopped, my ebbing fear returning. Written on every wall, in a painfully saturated crimson, with thousands of layers were the words

DON'T TELL THEM YOU CAN SEE.

side note- so you wouldn't regain sight naturally this quickly, it would take several months, but I was lazy lol
