You could write about consumerism and the effects of consumerism in our modern culture. ads are designed to appeal to the consumer and encourage buying. consumerism also puts pressure on the worker and maintains the culture under capitalism that makes the worker feel obligated to live to work and to work to consume, if that makes sense. i can elaborate more if you think this is any good. :)
