Joe is a character highly undervalued by the entire community in which he lives. He is unmotivated, constantly compared to Spunk and everyone questions his masculinity and his ability to be successful. This inferiority, along with competition for Lena's love, causes Joe to allow a great deal of hatred and anger to grow inside him. All these negative feelings, repressed and hurting Joe, makes him the most wicked character in all of history, mainly because it stimulates horrible thoughts and dangerous behavior.

you can change by someone having a negative opinon of you in many ways for example thi can lead to depression and taking of ones life also known as sucide this effects there self esteem and ego in a negative way making them feel sad depressed and stressed causing them to act gloomy and sad if this continuses this can lead to self harm or much worse things.
