On September 11, 2001, a terrorist group called Al Qaeda hijacked several passenger airplanes. Two of them crashed into the Twin Towers, part of the World Trade Center, which collapsed, killing over 2996 people.

The reason why you could use this for your question is because the world was affected.

1: The towers was a world trade center for business, which probably had many people from other countries.

2: It was a terrorist attack, not an accident (claimed by Al Qaeda.)

3: Many countries gave their condolences including several communist countries such as NK, Russia, China, and sort of from Vietnam.

Several religious groups condemned the actions.
