-doesn’t care what others think

-Shes African American, most oppressed of their time -mentally sound, shes strong and independent

-she went through a lot to get there -because she is African American she has no rights she should not be where she is in her life nor should she be content with herself -she fires back, she allows no one to speak to her out of line or looked at wrong

-everyone knows not to mess with her “now woman forget all those things they dont want to remember, and remember all the things they do not want to forget the dream is the truth then they act and do things according!” -if she was living today she would not experience oppression as harshly -she has respect for others but also for herself , if she is treated wrong she is not afraid to speak up.
