Camila is taking notes as she re-reads the following passage: Aisha slunk out the backdoor, glad to finally have a break. As the heavy door closed behind her, the din of loud lunch goers barking orders over the deli counter was swallowed. Aisha leaned against the cool metal of the door and let the gentle sounds of the distant city ease her tension. If she closed her eyes, she could nearly convince herself she was on a bench at the park. A loud clatter broke the spell. Aisha opened her eyes just long enough to see a big rat run across her feet. Camila circles words in the passage such as "loud" and "barking" and "din." Then she underlines "gentle" and "cool".
