DAY 3: Leave early by coach for the plantation route. Discover different architectural styles: the classic South American style at Oak Alley and the Creole style at Laura, for example. Stay overnight at the Nottoway Plantation.
DAY 4: Go to Lafayette. En route, take a boat ride on the Atchafalaya Basin. Spend the night with a Cajun resident. Dine at Préjean to discover jambalaya, okra and stew. Dance to Cajun music at Randol’s.
DAY 5: Go to the Jean Lafitte National Park Museum to see the film on the Grand Dérangement. Visit the Vermillionville Museum. Return to New Orleans.
DAY 6: Return to France.
