Write a summary of the text. A summary consists of the most important details about the story. You do not include your opinion of the text and it isn't written in First Person. The

summary should answer most of the 5 W's (Who, What, Why, When, and Where). Begin

your summary by stating the name of the text, the author of text, and the author's

purpose for writing it. In the next two to three sentences, you should be answering the

5W's. Your last sentence is a concluding sentence. Also, refer to the article/cite textual

evidence to support your summary. Your summary should be 5 to 7 sentences long.
