Write an editorial for a local or school newspaper in which you argue your side of an issue that affects your school or community. Use modern syntax and usage but apply some of Jefferson’s persuasive techniques. For example, present a list of reasons just as Jefferson does in the Declaration of Independence.

A concluding statement that follows from the argument
