I visited the computer room in our school the other day, and I was appalled. Students were using the computers, but they did not know how to use the
keyboard well. It looked like they had never seen one before. They wasted time
hunting for letters on the keyboard and then pecking out words using two fingers,
It was like watching a bird search for worms. This seems like a waste of time and
effort. I think it is time to bring typing instruction back to the classroom. Imagine
