Sometimes I can’t conceive of how much time my grandfather spends watching sports on TV. One day, he turned off a basketball game long before it was over. I asked him if anything was wrong.

“I’m just fed up with commercials,” he replied. “There are too many of them, and they really affect my enjoyment of the game.”
