Grammar: sentence functions and end marks

1. What are you doing this afternoon? (this is a question, so we use a question mark)
2. I’m cleaning my room and vacuuming the rug. (this is a statement so we use a period)
3. How long will this take you?
4. It’s really a mess this time.
5. Well, hurry up! (we use an exclamation point to exclaim)
6. It may take me all afternoon.
