In the short story, the popular kids bully Rachel. Why do you think they target Rachel? Why do you think bullies decide to put other people down?

I belive tbe popular kids bullied rachel because she was new. She did not know anyone therefore, she was vonerabe and had no one to stand up for her. Bullies decide to put others down because they're insecure themselves, and the person they're bullying either embraces what the bully is insecure about or has what the bully doesn't.

it shaped life in both positive and negative ways. the positive sides of the medieval government was that it had a very strong and military. the citizens felt safer because of the high military interference. the citizens also had a positive attitude towards the artisan class and gave a huge respect to them. there is also a negative side of the government where the government would use the military too much on its citizens which created a sense of autocracy. it was oppressive to the peasants especially to the women.
