What does her art look/sound like? Paint a picture with your words that SHOWS us that she
is a talented artist without TELLING us directly.
7. I am anxious. Think: How do you act and/or feel when you are anxious? NOTE: Do not
tell us WHY you are anxious, just describe what fear looks and feels like.
8. The old man is very kind. Think: How do you know he is old? What does old look like?
What does he do to make you think he is kind?
9. He looked angry. Think: How do you know he is angry? NOTE: Do not tell us WHY he
is angry, just describe what angry looks like. What are the physical signs that show you
someone is angry?
10. The beautiful woman drank from a cup.
Think: What did she look like (describe her beauty without telling us she is beautiful)? What
was she drinking? How was she drinking it? What sort of cup was it-- a mug, a glass?
