HELP Can someone pls write a conclusion paragraph for my essay that is at least 70 words?

For this reflective essay, I will be focusing on foreshadowing that occurs throughout three very different short stories. Those three short stories are going to consist of, “The Beginning of Grief” by L. Woiwode, then I will discuss foreshadowing in “The Veldt” written by Ray Bradbury, and finally, I will explain the foreshadowing that occurs throughout “The Lottery” written by Shirley Jackson.

In the first short story that I will be discussing called “The Beginning of Grief”, the foreshadowing occurs more towards the beginning of the story when William Stanion begins to worry that something is wrong with his children. This is foreshadowing because later on in the story, William Stanion figures out that something is in fact, the matter with his son Kevin (L. Woiwode). Kevin had gotten in trouble earlier that day as a result of him kicking one of his playmates while he and some other children were playing outside. This was an effective use of foreshadowing by L. Woiwode simply because it clued the reader in that William Stanion was going to find out later on in the story that something had happened with his son Kevin while he was at school.

The second short story that includes foreshadowing, would be “The Lottery” written by Shirley Jackson. In this short story, there are several clear examples of foreshadowing. The first example would be when thewehn the children that currently live in the town begin to the stones. This is foreshadowing that something unpleasant is going to happen later on in the story as a result of the stones that were previously gathered by the children. The second example of foreshadowing would be the villagers' somber and nervous behavior before the start of the ritual. The reader can infer from this foreshadowing that a certain thing is highly likely to commence later in the story.

The last short story that I’m going to go over is “The Veldt” written by Ray Bradbury. The first example of foreshadowing that Ray Bradbury introduces in this short story is when George(the father) and Lydia (the mother) start to hear screams coming from the veldt and then come to realize that they are in fact hearing their very own screams. This anticipates their own screams as the lions attack them in the veldt. There is also foreshadowing when George and Lydia are tricked by their two children and locked in the veldt left to find Georges’s old wallet and Lydia’s old and now very bloody scarf. This part of the text is foreshadowing the lions killing off George and Lydia which will occur towards the end of the story.
