Is this a good essay? Our nation has a set of laws made to keep us safe and protected. Which the executive branch plays a huge part in, although all the government branches are made to be equal, I’d say the executive branch is the most powerful. Because the president is the head of it and the president is the leader of our nation.
One of the most important reasons why the executive branch is the most powerful government branches is because the president is the most visible leader for the United States. Most people know who the president is but only a few people can name many members of the Congress. Making the majority of people most likely to have more trust in the president to accept laws that’ll help better the nation for us. We get the chance to elect a new president or sometimes re-elect a president every four years. Many vice presidents also end up becoming the next president, meaning they and the past president probably did a good job on their work time there.
Moving on, when a bill for law is made it has to go through the house of representatives and the senate. It then moves to the president, usually giving the president and sometimes The vice president the final say in weather it becomes law or not. If he excepts it, he will sign the bill into a law. However if he declines it it’ll get put into veto. Laws are important to help keep us all safe and give us our rights. Take speeding and traffic laws for example, they’re made to help keep us safe while driving.
Though many people may argue that the judicial or legislative branch is more powerful, probably because legislative branch has the most power over starting the laws. And the judicial branch is in charge of the laws meaning or how to apply it to a real life situation. But in the end, the executive branch gets to confirm if it can be made as a law or not. Which gives the law a higher chance of not getting passed through as a bill.
The judicial and legislative branches are also very powerful, but the executive branch does seems to be the most powerful. the executive branch is made to help keep us safe and keep us obeying the law. And to make sure the laws made are going to be good for us citizens, therefore making the executive branch the most powerful government branch.
