1 in some ways I can be distracted by my phone but it does keep me entertained.

2 phones keep us occupied. But if I'm with a friend I want to give all of my attention.

3. Yeah, I would want to show my family something but they don't pay attention and just keep playing on their phone.

4 We all connect. If we aren't talking face to face we will be talking on social media.

5 My family has no problem with us being on our phone at the dinner table. I keep it on me all the time incase of an emergency.

6 I feel like if you're in class you should pay attention because you can get help in person and if you're online then you can get help on you're phone.

i have read the novel roll of thunder hear my cry by mildred d. taylor.

1. this isn't like any other story i've read or watched because it is about a black family in mississippi right after slavery in the u.s. had become illegal. most of the novels i have read were about slavery. another point is that the author of the novel used symbolism in a way i haven't seen before. for example she uses thunder as something negative meaning something bad will happen. but by the end of the novel, she made thunder a good thing.

2.   one character that changed during the novel was stacey. stacey is the eldest child of the black logan family. around the begging of the novel stacey was avoiding the white boy jeremy simms. he had a dislike for jeremy's family. but at the end of the novel stacey began to like jeremy.

3. the author starts the novel with the problem that the children of the logan family have to avoid the white kid school bus while walking to school.

answer: a lonely woodcutter comes by and decides to chop down the tree, while chopping, connor murphy took a nap next to the tree. waking up from the sound of chopping, he notices the tree falling on him. unable to escape, connor get hit and dies. this was the last of him.
