The latest Gospel in this world is, Know thy work and do it. "Know thyself": long enough has that poor "self" of thine tormented thee; thou wilt never get to "know" it, I believe! Think it not thy business, this of knowing thyself; thou art an unknowable individual: know what thou canst work at; and work at it, like a Hercules! That will be thy better plan.

It has been written, "an endless significance lies in Work"; a man perfects himself by working. Foul jungles are cleared away, fair seedfields rise instead, and stately cities; and withal the man himself first ceases to be a jungle and foul unwholesome desert thereby. Consider how, even in the meanest sorts of Labour, the whole soul of a man is composed into a kind of real harmony, the instant he sets himself to work! Doubt, Desire, Sorrow, Remorse, Indignation, Despair itself, all these like helldogs lie beleaguering the soul of the poor dayworker, as

also this is a really easy journal entry, you can just think of a skill your good at and write did you work hard to become good at this skill (ex: drawing, writing, math, playing music, etc.) or does it come naturally (like a cool trick that you can do with your body). you can do all of that in 150 words. just try and think of a talent and even if your bad at this talent just say your working hard to become good at it.

it is significant that blumenthal interviewed several people who knew steve jobs personally because this allowed her to gain access to the industry. she has also stated that due to her work in the 1980s, she was able to get acquainted with the process of making computers and other technology, and was able to witness the progress different companies made and to appreciate apple's contribution to it. finally, this close connection with the industry means that her information is more credible than that of a complete outsider.
